Just at first glance you can tell this is a timepiece made to impress, if not with its intricate dial work, then through its sheer size. The Slalom measures in at a very impressive 52mm! Like the other watches in the Alpine Series, this watch features all the signature designs: the scalloped edges on the case, the bulbous crown with rubber ring, and that beautiful domed crystal that gives the Alpine an entirely different level of three-dimensionality. As much as the Slalom is similar to the classic Alpines, this timepiece was designed with features that make it entirely unique in its own right. Rather than the normal Alpine faceplate, the Slalom is outfitted with a skeletonized faceplate instead, which reveals even more of the movement! This mechanical automatic holds nothing back when it comes to aesthetic quality; the Roman numeral markers for 12, 4, ad 8, along with the cigar-style hands have been treated with Luminova for unbelievable luminescence!
